Welcome
We are complicated, us humans.
We are nervous-system-consciousness-bearing organisms: we have minds and bodies. Yet we are so much more than a collection of parts, so much more than a mind riding around inside of our body. Rather, we are the integration of mind (which gives us the ability to analyze and determine what we need and want) and body (which gives us the ability to attempt to physically manifest those wants and needs), and I would include in that integration, qi, or life force. Really, we are miraculous!
Embodiment is extraordinary!
On the best of days, we merely think, use our minds, and the body acts: our hands, if we have them, reach out and grasp, purely by thought. Such a simple act, and yet so sublime and complicated. The human body is unthinkably profound!
The mind, too, is capable of such transcendence: philosophy, intention of purpose, metaphysics, spiritual evolution. We are incredible thinking beings who can move towards desired outcomes.
But, bodies and minds also suffer. At times, pain and confusion are part and parcel of embodiment. And while I do not profess to have any miracle cures for pain, nor profound answers to confusion, I am decent at what I do, as a massage therapist and as an astrological counselor, and can help you to help yourself:
Massage can profoundly unlock the body from dysfunctional patterning, reduce pain, and increase feelings of relaxation in your being;
The information derived from astrology can help steer you on the path of becoming your best and highest self.
I look forward to working with you!

“I literally could not function if it wasn't for Jay and his amazing bodywork. I have mild stenosis and it's really important for me to maintain good physical therapy and body work, so that I can keep the symptoms at bay. His technique keeps my body fluid and functioning, releasing tight muscles in the problem areas. I appreciate the time he takes with me, explaining what he's doing and what I can do at home to help myself stay in good shape. I highly recommend Jay for any level of bodywork... If I could see him every day, I would!”
